Welcome to Remarkable Symposium 2011. We’re looking forward to your visit to Queenstown in 2011. Please check back regularly for updates and our web challenge. We aim to have our first newsletter out in early June.
Autumn is a wonderful time to visit the Southern Lakes with absolutely stunning autumn scenery, and there is such a diversity of activities on offer here that we know you will enjoy your time with us, plenty to keep your family entertained also so why not plan a family trip. Our Symposium dates are 18-23 April which means we start on the first Monday of the school holidays with registration day and Easter Saturday is the last day for classes. There is a wide range of accommodation on offer including backpacker, hotels, apartments, and a range of private holiday houses. Many are located just a short walk from the venues. We’ll try to provide some suggestions at a later date. We are very excited to have acceptances from some stunning International Tutors. Our first newsletter will have details of those Tutors who are confirmed. We have had to close off expressions of interest from International Tutors, but we are still seeking expressions of interest from Australian and New Zealand Tutors The venues will be Queenstown Primary School in Robins Rd and Wakatipu High School in Fryer St with exhibitions staged in venues on an easy walking route in central Queenstown. Registrations of Interest open on 10th April 2009. It is our aim to provide on line registrations using Visa or Mastercard on the 10th. Our team is working very hard to make this happen, but should we not be able to offer this immediately (due to factors outside of our control) you will be able to download your Registration of Interest form and either fax together with your Credit card details to 034423138 (006434423138 for overseas) , or send by mail. You’ll find all payment details on the Registration of Interest page. Until next time Marg Arnott Convenor |
